Union insect cell culture medium is widely used for the attachment and suspension growth of the Spodeptera frugiperda cells, Sf9 and Sf21, as well as the High five cells of Trichopulsiani （Cabbage looper ovary）.The cells are routinely used to express recombinant protein using the Baculovirus Expression Vector System (BEVS).
